Each Saturday there is a street market at Kollwitzplatz in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg. Since today had pretty much ridiculously ideal weather for going to an outdoor market, we did just that. Most of the victuals for sale are from local farmers/producers and much is organic (yet surprisingly cheap as I purchased a large bunch of organic kale for 1.50 EUR!). There are numerous tasty treats to munch on as you peruse the wares on offer. The pea soup (mit or ohne Bockwurst), dished out of an insane-looking, steampunk-esque steel container on wheels, is particularly delicious.
